Job summary

On Our Own Services in South Texas is seeking a diligent cleaning associate to maintain sanitary premises. You will service restrooms, empty trash, and clean floors and surfaces throughout the facility, ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include following chemical safety procedures, preparing cleaning solutions, reporting major repairs, and stocking supplies. Must be 18+, pass background checks, and communicate effectively in English. Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Complete Bloodborne Pathogen training.
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable.

• Able to pass a background check and screening requirements as required by contract and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Keep the outside of building and grounds free of litter and debris.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
