Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC in Carson, CA seeks a Sr. Application Engineer to lead design and development of WMS application software and integration objects. You will connect the WMS with ERP, TMS and customer systems, delivering custom solutions to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with configuring/modifying accounts within SCALE (mandatory).
• Proven track record in WMS configuration, implementation and support.
• Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools (Microsoft SSRS, PowerBI).
• Experience with EDI, API and data integration.
• Ability to develop software code objects to support business flows and transform/persist data.
• Experience with warehouse automation/robotics and integration to the WMS host.

Summary/Objective:

The Sr. Application Engineer will lead the design and development of application software and integration objects for our WMS (Warehouse Management System) to meet the requirements of our internal operations and customers. You will lead the efforts to connect our WMS with outside customers and internal applications. The Sr. Application Engineer is responsible for developing custom solutions to enhance our business workflows. You will interact with, and advise, the Operations teams and other internal customers to ensure our WMS is meeting their business standards. The Sr. Application Engineer will serve as the lead in setting strategy for business solutions required to guarantee the success of our customer implementations and operational processes.

• Partner with various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/processes and then create detailed, and comprehensive documentation.
• Lead WMS projects, upgrades and integrations with ERP, TMS and warehouse automation systems

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred or 5-7 years of direct, related experience.
