Job Title:Senior Warehouse Equipment Operator - 1st Shift
Monday-Friday) W/Sat for potential overtime (6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $22.21/hour + $1.25 shift differential
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Warehouse Equipment Operatorto support warehouse and logistics operations while serving as a mentor and trainer for new hires. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, includingforklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers, as well as supporting inventory movement, shipping, receiving, and overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics and warehouse experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to train and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.
Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Train, coach, and assist new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, safety protocols, and productivity standards.
Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse.
Perform receiving, storage, inventory movement, replenishment, order picking, and shipping activities.
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
Verify quantities, product information, destinations, and shipment details using source documents and warehouse management systems.
Assist with inventory control and cycle count activities.
Operate weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse safety procedures.
Troubleshoot and report equipment issues and assist with routine equipment inspections.
Support warehouse leadership with daily operational priorities and special projects.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inventory and material movement.Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of2 years of warehouse and logistics experience.
Minimum of1 years of experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new warehouse associates.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.
Ability to read, interpret, and complete warehouse documentation accurately.
Basic mathematical and computer skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
