Job summary

Neovia Logistics Services (NLS) in Chanute, KS is seeking a Warehouse Associate_Shift_2 to manage the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods. You will support logistics, material management, and distribution to meet business needs with minimal delay.

The shift runs 4:00pm - 2:30am with a base rate of $17 and a $3 differential to reflect the night hours and duties.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use ladder hand truck and dolly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, move, and ship parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing from source documents.
• Operate weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging machines as needed.
• Safely operate and service mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment in the facility.
• Perform clerical and documentation duties.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording and disbursement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for and/or assist in logistics and supply chain, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the business requirements with minimum delay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for and/or assists in the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipmentand supplies.
• Responsible for and/or assists in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the use, safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and or electrical equipment in facilities work environment.
• Responsible for and/or assists in the performance of specialized clerical, and documentation duties.
• Responsible for and/or assists in other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
