About the Position

The Sr. Visual Manager will own the visual merchandising process from concept through execution, shaping the aesthetic vision and bringing it to life across showrooms and tradeshows. This role is responsible for every stage of visual presentation, including concept development, space planning, product assortment and allocation, fixture and display development, installation, styling, and ongoing maintenance of visual standards. The ideal candidate brings strong industry experience and can move seamlessly between creative direction, detailed planning, and hands‑on execution. This position is based in Los Angeles and requires the ability to travel approximately 40% of the year. This individual embraces and supports our in‑person/on‑site work culture and embodies our company values of Ownership, Collaboration and Respect.

What you can do for us:

  • Own visual merchandising from concept through execution, translating brand direction into cohesive, elevated showroom and tradeshow environments.

  • Conceptualize the overall aesthetic and visual story for designated showrooms and tradeshows, then manage all stages required to bring the vision to life.

  • Develop seasonal visual concepts, 3D floor plans, product layouts, and merchandising plans that balance brand presentation, product storytelling, space, inventory, and selling performance.

  • Manage product assortment and allocation for visual presentations, including planning around available inventory, incoming SKUs, best sellers, and products that should be added, repositioned, or removed.

  • Lead hands‑on installation and styling during showroom and tradeshow setups, including furniture and accessory placement, display execution, and final visual details.

  • Oversee the visual presentation and ongoing maintenance of designated showrooms and support approximately 4-6 tradeshows annually, ensuring brand standards remain consistent after installation.

  • Develop, design, and source displays, fixtures, and other visual elements needed to support the overall concept and brand presentation.

  • Coordinate the operational details behind visual execution, including labor, freight, vendors, graphics, logos, collateral, printers, and outside partners.

  • Partner closely with the VP of Brand, Visual Director, Director of Construction and Design, showroom teams, Marketing, and other cross‑functional partners to execute visual initiatives from initial concept through completion.

  • Analyze sales and product performance to inform merchandising decisions while maintaining a strong point of view on aesthetics, trends, design, and brand storytelling.

  • Anticipate needs, troubleshoot in real time, and make hands‑on adjustments during installations to ensure the finished environment reflects the intended visual concept.

  • Travel as needed for showroom and tradeshow installations, approximately 40% of the year, with the ability to work nights and weekends when required.

What we can do for you:

  • Play a pivotal role in our company’s transformation and growth

  • Align with a growing company that operates in the luxury market

  • Provide training and career development opportunities

  • Enjoy a high‑paced and collaborative work environment

  • Eligible for up to a 6% employer 401(k) contribution following six months of employment

  • Take advantage of paid time off away from work, including scheduled company holidays

  • Participate in competitive benefits and incentivizing programs

  • Team building company sponsored events

  • Employee discount and bi‑annual sample sale

Requirements

  • Required industry experience in home furnishings, furniture, home décor, interior design, luxury retail, or a closely related visual merchandising environment.

  • Demonstrated experience owning visual merchandising projects end-to-end, from concept and aesthetic development through planning, sourcing, installation, styling, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Strong creative eye and ability to conceptualize a visual direction while also managing the detailed planning and hands‑on execution required to deliver it.

  • Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Suite, with experience developing floor plans, layouts, or other visual planning tools.

  • Hands‑on installation experience and comfort working directly with furniture, fixtures, displays, and visual elements during showroom and tradeshow setups.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, vendors, timelines, inventory needs, and installation details.

  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently, anticipate needs, solve problems, and make decisions quickly in fast‑paced environments.
