Job summary

Ardmore Home Design is seeking a Vice President of Warehouse Operations to lead and continuously improve distribution and warehouse operations across our luxury home décor brands. You will develop the operational strategy, drive world-class execution, and build high-performing teams delivering exceptional service.

This role requires in-person leadership and a culture of Ownership, Collaboration, and Respect.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics
• Proven success managing high-volume warehouse/ DC operations
• Experience developing strategies to improve efficiency and service levels
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, WMS, and ERP platforms
• Experience with budgets, labor planning, and performance metrics

Responsibilities

• Develop the strategic vision for warehouse operations across multiple brands and facilities
• Lead all warehouse functions: receiving, fulfillment, shipping, returns, and logistics coordination
• Coach and develop warehouse leaders; promote safety and continuous improvement culture
• Establish and monitor metrics: productivity, accuracy, shipping, labor utilization, customer service
• Drive efficiency and cost reduction through continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to optimize WMS, automation, reporting, and technology
• Plan labor to meet seasonal demand and growth; manage capex and budgets
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards; align with regulatory requirements
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives
• Lead large-scale projects: facility improvements, capacity planning, expansions

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Warehouse Operations to lead and continuously improve our distribution and warehouse operations across our family of luxury home brands. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing operational strategy, driving world-class execution, and building high-performing teams that deliver exceptional service to our customers.
The VP of Warehouse Operations will oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, fulfillment, logistics coordination, safety, labor planning, and continuous improvement. This leader will partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, IT, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure operational excellence while supporting the company's continued growth. What You Can Do For Us

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for warehouse operations across multiple facilities and brands.
• Lead all warehouse functions including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, returns, and logistics coordination.
• Build, coach, and develop warehouse leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
• Establish and monitor key operational metrics including productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, shipping performance, labor utilization, and customer service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.
• Partner with IT and Operations teams to optimize warehouse management systems (WMS), automation, reporting, and technology solutions.
• Develop labor planning strategies that align staffing levels with seasonal demand and business growth.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Finance, Product Development, and Executive Leadership to support business initiatives and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and operational investments while maintaining financial discipline.
• Lead large-scale operational projects including facility improvements, process redesign, capacity planning, and warehouse expansion initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, including experience leading leaders.
• Proven success managing high-volume warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Experience developing and implementing operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service levels.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience within furniture, home furnishings, manufacturing, or consumer products distribution is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
• Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation:
