Position Summary

Sr. Virtual Sales Representative (Sr VSR) is responsible for creating proximity in a remote environment by engaging health care professionals (HCPs) in telephone conversations and other digital interactions to promote assigned client product(s), maximize the product(s)’ selling potential and meet program and Client objectives. The Sr. VSR develops and maintains relationships with HCPs and educates them about product features, benefits, safety profile, and approved indications to ensure appropriate patient use. The Sr. VSR utilizes approved tools for product/program promotion and maintains a competent level of product, program, and customer activity knowledge.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily call responsibilities according to defined expectations, with the purpose of achieving KPIs
    1. Promote Client's product(s) via outbound calls and digital interactions to HCPs to meet sales and market share goals.
    2. Respond to inbound calls from HCPs regarding product questions.
    3. Profile and manage targeted HCP lists to grow product volume.
    4. Maintain call productivity and metrics, including virtual engagements.
  2. Prospecting: Qualify or disqualify HCPs from a target list
    1. Conduct outbound calls and digital engagements to qualify or disqualify HCPs.
    2. Complete data entry in CRM systems.
  3. Communicate effectively with customers using proper selling, listening, and negotiation skills.
  4. Maintain thorough knowledge of client products and programs.
  5. Verify and complete data entry in CRM systems.
  6. Respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  7. Create and maintain a positive impression with the client and their customers.
  8. Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  9. Participate in meetings, training sessions, and represent the client at conventions when applicable.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ Years of Pharmaceutical Sales required
  • 1+ Year of Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales preferred
  • 1+ Year of Pharmaceutical Sales in Renal or Rare disease required

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical aptitude and rapport-building skills
  • Effective selling, closing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand complex medical information
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
