Sr. UX / Visual Designer - 17225
Description
As part of the Digital, Technology, and Analytics (DT&A) team, this individual will have a profound impact on AAR by owning the design-related aspects of numerous large-scale technology transformations. Examples of projects include helping reimagine how aviation maintenance work is done in our hangars using a web-based application and redesigning/upgrading various tools used by our Sales and Parts Distribution teams.
What you will be responsible for:
Interface Design: Lead the visual design aspect of a reimagined, digital-first MRO app experience and applications used by Sales and Parts Distribution teams. Develop and manage the Design Language and Interface Guidelines that then drive development, deployment, and iteration
Product Design and User Experience: Develop a deep understanding and empathy for the complex interactions between people and technology; leverage that understanding to surprise and delight anyone interacting with our technological products and solutions.
Resident Creative: Push boundaries, unlock creativity and novel approaches, within the team and for the product portfolio.
Integrator: Manage participation by a variety of input and feedback-providing groups (end users, vendors, senior business leaders, etc.)
End User Engagement: Ensure user engagement throughout the design and development cycles. Manage a complex cross section of participants from technology and business teams

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $104,000 to $154,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. [In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.] AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
