Job summary

Tecla is seeking a Senior UX/UI Product Designer to lead the evolution of an established enterprise platform, focusing on usability and complex workflows for administrators, students, interns, and mentors. You will own the redesign of dashboards and user-facing experiences, while shaping AI-powered interactions and new features.

Collaboration with the CTO, developers, and an existing designer is essential to ensure technically feasible, user-centered solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design or Product Design.
• Strong experience designing web-based SaaS or data-intensive dashboards.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and improve IA for multiple user types.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, usability, and UX best practices.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar tools for wireframes, prototyping, and interface design.

Monthly salary: $3,000 - $3,500 USD

Along with our partner, we're looking for a Senior UX/UI Product Designer to lead the evolution of an established enterprise platform, improving usability, simplifying complex workflows, and designing intuitive experiences for multiple user groups.

This role is heavily focused on user experience, product thinking, and functional design, rather than purely visual aesthetics. You'll take ownership of redesigning key areas of the platform, particularly its administrative dashboards and user-facing experiences, while helping shape new features and AI-powered interactions.

You'll work closely with the CTO, development team, and an existing designer to translate business requirements into practical, user-centered solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong UX expertise with a solid understanding of frontend development principles, enabling effective collaboration with engineers and ensuring designs are both intuitive and technically feasible.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX/UI redesign of an existing enterprise platform, improving usability, navigation, and overall user experience.
• Evaluate and optimize complex administrative dashboards, including workflows for program management, activity tracking, performance evaluations, and reporting.
• Redesign user-facing experiences for students, interns, and mentors, making interactions more intuitive, engaging, and accessible.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and product requirements, translating them into effective design solutions.
• Own the end-to-end UX design process, from user flows, information architecture, and wireframes to interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Design intuitive experiences for new platform capabilities, including upcoming AI-powered features and user interactions.
• Work closely with the CTO and engineering team to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with the existing product architecture.
• Collaborate with and provide UX guidance to the existing designer, helping maintain consistency across the platform.
• Identify usability challenges, recommend improvements, and proactively contribute to product decisions and prioritization.
• Develop and maintain reusable design patterns and components to support a consistent, scalable user experience.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, or a closely related field, with demonstrated ownership of complex digital products.
• Strong experience designing and improving web-based SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, or data-intensive dashboards.
• Proven ability to simplify complex workflows, improve information architecture, and create intuitive experiences for different user types.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, usability, and UX best practices.
• Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools for wireframing, prototyping, and interface design.
• Experience collaborating directly with developers, technical leaders, and product stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable designs.
• Ability to independently lead UX initiatives, make informed design decisions, and communicate the reasoning behind proposed solutions.
• Strong portfolio showcasing complex product design projects, UX improvements, and the decision-making process behind them.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote, cross-functional team.
• Advanced English proficiency.

• Experience designing AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Previous experience with HR technology, talent management, education technology, or professional development platforms.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React and modern component libraries.
• Experience designing analytics dashboards, reporting interfaces, and data visualization workflows.
