Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years of Group Benefits underwriting experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining solid relationships with all internal and external business partners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • An ability to think analytically about business problems, make recommendations, and propose solutions.
  • High energy self-starter, resilient, with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Solid time, organizational, and desk management skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering outcomes.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and compete to win.
  • Superior technical knowledge with sound decision-making and analytical skills.

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates near an office location are expected to work in-office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Remote candidates may need to come into an office as needed.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is based on external market analysis. Actual pay may vary based on performance, proficiency, and demonstrated competencies. The total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and recognition. The range for this role is:

$78,160 - $117,240
