Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. is seeking a Sr. Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team. The role involves coordinating medical and health services across hospital and clinic settings and performing diagnostic sonography to support interpretation.

Responsibilities include obtaining clinical information, preparing patients and equipment, and maintaining ARDMS credentials with BLS certification. Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program.
• Must be ARDMS credentialed in Abdomen and OB/Gyn.
• 2–5 years experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or equivalent senior-level credentials.
• Flexible scheduling, weekend/holiday/on-call coverage, and rotation across locations.
• Maintain ARDMS credentials per ARDMS criteria.
• BLS certification required.

We are seeking a Sr. Ultrasound Sonographer to become apart of our team!You willcoordinate medical and health services in hospitals, clinics or similar organizations.

Perform diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation:

• Obtain appropriate patient clinical information from requesting physician and/or service prior to performing exam.
• Prepare patient for imaging.
• Prepare room and equipment prior to imaging and after completion of exam.
• Demonstrate appropriate self-critique of exams to include ability to recognize sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions.
• Meet physical requirements to perform all aspects of diagnostic sonography studies in the inpatient as well as outpatient settings, including but not limited to: performing portable exams, transferring and transporting gurney and wheelchair
• Maintain RDMS credential(s) according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.

Required skills:

• Graduate of a formal accredited ultrasound training program in an approved school
• Must have flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays and on-call shifts. This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all Medical Center locations and variable shifts per department needs.
• Requires ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties at minimum.
• BLS - Basic Life Support.
• Requires (2-5) years experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, and or equivalent experience in a similar Ultrasound departmentOR New hires who meet criteria of equivalent experience and credentials held must also have equivalent Senior Sonographer skills; the Senior Diagnostic Medical Sonographer title may be granted at the discretion of the Section Chief and Section Supervisor.
