PSEG Long Island is seeking a Sr Transmission Ops NERC Compliance Specialist to oversee Transmission Operations compliance with NERC standards for LIPA registrations. The role evaluates standards for applicability, develops RSAWs for audits, and leads internal control development to ensure ongoing compliance.
The position requires coordination with NYISO groups, SME collaboration, and travel within the service territory.

The Transmission Operations NERC Compliance Specialist will manage Transmission Operations compliance with NERC Operating and Planning standards that apply to LIPA's NERC functional registrations, for which Transmission Operations is responsible. This includes review of updated and new standards for applicability. Evaluation of these standards to determine necessary changes to Transmission Operations policies and procedures to comply. Develop and update reliability standard audit worksheets (RSAW) for NERC audits, act as subject matter expert (SME) where applicable. Develop and manage internal controls to ensure compliance and compliance related tasks are performed. Represent LIPA on various NYISO working groups. Coordinate with other SME's as necessary if Transmission Operations input is needed on RSAWs. Review and respond if necessary to NERC Alerts. Perform various compliance related notifications, (Department of Energy, NERC, NPCC).
