Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Support Analyst to help top-tier clients navigate the Trading, Order Management System (OMS), and IBOR products. This role focuses on resolving issues, answering questions, and delivering excellent client experiences.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong technical and financial acumen, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and builds lasting client relationships through direct interaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a client-facing role in finance.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with trading workflows or OMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, respond to, and resolve client questions and issues.
  • Provide hands-on support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work with complex data to identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to resolve issues.
  • Partner with Product and Account Manager teams to maintain client happiness.
  • Teach clients how to use Addepar effectively.

The Role

Support Analysts are critical to empowering some of the world's most sophisticated investors by helping them navigate and maximize the capabilities of Addepar's Trading, Order Management System (OMS), and Investment Book of Record (IBOR) products. They serve as the first point of contact for addressing client questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal use of the platform in daily operations.

They excel in coordinating and collaborating with internal teams, possess strong technical and financial acumen, and thrive on building relationships through direct client interactions.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $70,000 - $87,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, respond to, and resolve issues and questions raised by Addepar's clients
  • Provide hands-on support to our clients to ensure their ongoing happiness
  • Work in complex data sets to identify and resolve data and calculation discrepancies
  • Evaluate the criticality of client issues and collaborate with various parts of the organization to resolve
  • Work closely and conduct root-cause analysis with Engineering and Data teams to resolve issues
  • Work effectively with Product and Account Manager teams to manage and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Help clients use Addepar to the greatest extent through both functional and conceptual instruction
  • Prioritize and context-switch effectively to execute on simultaneous cases, seeing each through to the finish line
  • Become an expert on all things Addepar
Who You Are
  • Familiarity with trading workflows, portfolio management, or financial instruments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
  • Superior communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in math and strong analytical skills
  • Passion for problem-solving and continuous learning
  • Interest in leveraging technology to solve complex financial challenges
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with changing priorities
  • [Plus] Previous experience in investment management or with Order Management Systems (OMS)
