Job summary

Archer Meat Snacks is seeking a Sr. Trade Analyst in Los Angeles to support trade spend optimization, promotional execution, and financial controls across the business.

You will analyze retailer spend, forecast pre-promotions, perform ROI analyses, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, AR, and leadership to ensure accurate, efficient trade investments. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business required; Finance preferred.
• 5+ years analytics experience in food & beverage or CPG.
• Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles area and commute to Downtown LA.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends, risks, opportunities.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex spreadsheets, and automation.
• Strong numerical aptitude with discounts, percentages, commissions, and financial calculations.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally at all levels.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with TPM systems preferred and ERP systems (NetSuite) strongly preferred.
• SQL or additional analytical tool experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of the TPM system and data accuracy.
• Partner with Sales to maintain customer data and promo execution standards.
• Help improve processes and controls for trade spend effectiveness.
• Analyze retailer trade spend, fees, repayments, and collections for savings.
• Support pre-promotion forecasting and planning across data sources.
• Conduct post-promotion ROI analysis to inform investment decisions.
• Provide customer-specific analysis and recommendations as needed.
• Assist with monthly trade spend accruals and KPI reporting.

In this role, you will play a key part in improving the effectiveness of trade promotions, reducing cost-to-serve, and strengthening reporting processes that support better commercial decisions. What You’ll Own & Impact

Trade Promotion Management & Execution

• Support day-to-day administration of the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system, ensuring customer plans, promotional activities, pricing changes, and new item setups remain accurate and up to date
• Partner with Sales teams to maintain customer data integrity and promotional execution standards
• Help improve processes and controls that strengthen overall trade spend effectiveness

Trade Spend Analysis & Cost Savings

• Analyze retailer trade spend, fees, repayments, and collections to identify savings opportunities and reduce cost-to-serve
• Support pre-promotion forecasting and planning through data analysis across multiple sources
• Conduct post-promotion ROI analysis to evaluate effectiveness and future investment decisions
• Provide customer-specific analysis and recommendations as needed

• Assist with preparation of monthly trade spend accruals
• Support monthly reporting, KPI tracking, and analytics for management and board-level updates
• Review customer billing for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain slotting documentation and ensure required records remain current

Cross-Functional Partnership & Recovery Support

• Communicate account information with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues
• Help recover invalid deductions and support collections efforts
• Ensure compliance with trade agreements by maintaining contracts and coordinating stakeholder reviews with Sales and Accounts Receivable

What Sets You Apart

• Bachelor’s degree in Business required; Finance preferred
• 5+ years of analytics experience within food & beverage or CPG
• Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles area and be able to commute to the Downtown Los Angeles office
