Job summary

1000 Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a candidate to operate and maintain thin film deposition equipment while ensuring production quality. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance and collaboration with engineering teams to implement process improvements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain thin film deposition equipment to ensure flawless production quality
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with engineering teams to successfully implement process improvements
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Education in an industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) including night shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality control methodologies
• Certification in equipment maintenance or relevant technical areas
