A leading company in entertainment is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform repair and maintenance tasks within their facilities. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and five years of relevant experience. The position requires strong communication skills and an understanding of maintenance tools and equipment, in addition to specific licenses. This role involves working flexible hours to ensure facility operations are maintained effectively.
Job Duties
Performs repair and maintenance tasks for FEC facilities and related equipment; maintains all heating and air conditioning systems according to national, state, or local codes. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma/GED. License requirements are per the local authority having jurisdiction. EPA refrigerant certificate types 2, 3, 4, or universal are required.
Five (5) years of experience, including 24 months as a FedEx HVAC technician or 24 months of maintenance experience on similar equipment/systems in a commercial/industrial HVAC maintenance technician position.
Ability to access equipment by crawling, lying, standing, and/or climbing at all heights, both above and below ground. Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Willing to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts. Valid driver’s license required. Good knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy components with assistance or appropriate equipment. Must work safely and stay alert in a non-covered safety-sensitive position.
Candidates should have a 1st Class Mechanical Contractor's license and a 1st Class Steam Engineer license.
