• 1st Class Mechanical Contractor's license preferred.

Job Duties

• Performs repair and maintenance tasks for FEC facilities and related equipment.
• Maintains all heating and air conditioning systems in compliance with national, state, or local codes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. License requirements are per the local authority having jurisdiction. EPA refrigerant certificate type 2, 3, 4/universal required.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of experience, including 24 months as a FedEx HVAC technician or similar maintenance experience on commercial/industrial HVAC systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing, and climbing at heights above and below ground. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Conditions

Willingness to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy components with appropriate tools or assistance. Must work safely and stay alert at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should have a 1st Class Mechanical Contractor's license and a 1st Class Steam Engineer license.
