S2 Global, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Technical Trainer to work in its Ft Lauderdale, FL location.S2 Global is the leading provider of security screening solutions and has extensive experience in program assessment, technology deployment, operation management, image analysis and maintenance services at major events, ports, land borders and air cargo facilities. Focused on Operations, Integration and Training, S2 Global's solutions ensure that customers have the advanced technologies and sophisticated techniques to significantly increase their screening capabilities.
- Assists Senior Training Manager with the development of training courses to suit customer needs and contract requirements.
- Instructs customers on procedures, processes, techniques, and skills associated with interpretation of cargo, vehicle, and X-ray scanning equipment.
- Conducts training through various course delivery formats such as lecture, practical exercises, field training, Computer-Based Training (CBT) or Web-Based Training (WBT).
- Conducts On-The-Job-Training (OJT) on proper image analysis techniques at customer sites, including customer OCONUS sites operated and manned by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agency personnel in the Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR).
- Plans and executes training plans at customer sites both CONUS and OCONUS, to include in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Acts as a member of a multi-person training teams on various large and small scale training projects, conducted at both customer and S2 sites, both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Prepares and sends detailed training reports to senior training staff at the conclusion of each training event.
- Understands Company's goal and purpose to continually optimize Security Service delivery.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Travel Requirements:
- Possess the willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 75%, to include to DOD operated and manned facilities and bases OCONUS in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Work independently to plan and arrange travel accommodations within Company guidelines
- Possess the flexibility and capability to deal with sudden changes (i.e. customer schedules, flight delays, on-site weather delays etc.)
- Capable of obtaining medical and security clearances required to travel to DOD operated and manned facilities and bases OCONUS in the CENTCOM AOR.
- Focus on costs savings by planning and arranging travel accommodations as soon as practical
- Maintain and organize expense receipts and work independently to manage administrative tasks, including the timely submission of expenses and other administrative reporting as required
- Maintain valid passport and credit card as required to support business travel
- Bachelor's Degree Required. Masters in Business Management, Education, Training or other related field preferred.
- 8+ years (or equivalent experience) in a training field with the Military, Government, or in an Education.
- Masters in Business Management, Education, Training or other related field preferred.
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in Course Development and LMS Design
- Supervisory Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to work independently and make logical decisions based upon Company guidelines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, management, peers and direct reports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Able to obtain medical clearance to deploy OCONUS to CENTCOM AOR
Preferential Qualifications:- Military, law enforcement officer (LEO), or federal agent background preferred but not required.
- Active Secret Clearance.
