Job summary

Corbion is seeking a Sr. Technical Service Representative with strong wholesale bakery manufacturing experience, in breads and cakes.

This role involves traveling about 75% to key accounts and assisting customers with bakery formulations and operations. The ideal candidate has extensive wholesale baking background, AIB graduate or equivalent, and proven ability to lead projects from conception through plant trials while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• AIB Graduate and/or 10+ years’ experience in baking preferred.
• Extensive large wholesale baking background with management experience in operations.
• Excellent understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, fully automated baking processes, and operation of the equipment.
• Solid understanding of formulation and how to build a formula from scratch.
• Ability to start a project from conception, product development, R&D testing in our labs, and then implement through plant trials.
• Successful collaboration with multiple internal teams and customers.
• Excellent process problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience developing and delivering seminars and training programs both internally and to customers.
• Must be self-motivated with excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively, both domestically 75% and internationally occasionally.
• Must be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Our offer

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type years of and experience within the industry, education, etc. Please note, Corbion is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
