Job summary

Brady Corporation seeks a Technical Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for R&D and related technical functions. You will design and execute national and local recruiting strategies, source aggressively, and engage candidates to ensure top talent is matched to open roles.

You will partner with hiring managers, build pipelines for software, firmware, mechanical, and product disciplines, and optimize recruitment channels while delivering exceptional candidate experience.

  • 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience.

Job description

Brady is seeking a Technical Recruiter. The primary responsibilities of the recruiter are delivering all facets of talent acquisition strategies largely supporting requisitions in R&D. This will be achieved through developing and executing national and local recruiting, employing advanced sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative talent engagement tactics. This position plays a critical role in ensuring Brady matches the best possible talent to open positions, both internally and externally.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Consult with hiring managers to present effective recruiting strategies that deliver high-quality candidates.
  • Proactively source and build candidate pipelines for key positions including software engineers, firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, technical disciplines, corporate roles, and operations.
  • Fully maximize all available candidate recruitment channels: social media, employee referral program, job fairs, networks, cold calling, etc.
  • Provide best-in-class candidate experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruitment process.
  • Participate at in-person recruiting events onsite, high schools, colleges, and local job fairs.
  • Create sourcing plans to attract diverse candidates to Brady Corporation.
  • Post jobs to standard and niche job boards such as LinkedIn & Indeed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or related field.
  • Proven Tech Pedigree: 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring complex roles (Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Managers, Data Architects).
  • A strong understanding of the tech landscape, engineering languages, frameworks, and how to speak the language of engineering leaders and candidates.
  • Skills in building relationships with both candidates and hiring managers to help drive position closure.
  • Expertise in utilizing advanced sourcing techniques (boolean search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X-raying, and niche talent communities) to uncover passive, diverse candidates.
  • Ability to research and present new sourcing options to a team of corporate recruiters
  • A proactive approach to leveraging AI sourcing and automation tools to minimize manual administrative tasks.
