Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Manager to lead quality and manufacturing improvements across Whiting Mill, Neenah Mill, and Neenah Converting Center with regular travel between sites in Wisconsin.

Your role is to drive safety culture, administer ISO 9001 quality systems, and partner with Sales, Operations and suppliers to meet customer expectations while developing a high-performing technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing quality and or technical leadership roles.
• Ability to travel to customer sites if requested.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical field with a minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 3 in a manufacturing quality or technical role.
• Lean Six Sigma or ASQ Certification a plus.
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor/Manager a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and quality by modeling strong leadership behavior as part of the site leadership teams.
• Provide technical expertise to modify existing mill processes and/or add new processes that will improve quality and profitability.
• Address customer complaints, including thorough investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and communication to stakeholders.
• Attain new business through superior customer relationships and understanding of asset capabilities; support product trials and share information to enhance skills.
• Protect Mativ's business by complying with external certifications, performing audits, and conducting reviews to manage risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Support the evaluation, approval and monitoring of third-party contract manufacturing partners and suppliers.
• Support the onboarding of new business and product changes by meeting all quality and regulatory requirements.
• Execute and develop capital projects to sustain or improve products.
• Ensure the effective implementation and ongoing execution of a Quality Management System.
• Act as the liaison between Sales/Customer Service and Operations.
• Provide oversight to site-specific technical and quality resources in adhering to product specification processes.
• Develop a Quality Improvement Plan to elevate customer satisfaction and reduce poor quality costs.
• Mentor direct reports through goal setting and performance discussions.
• Contribute to the global quality organization by sharing best practices.

• Execute and develop capital projects necessary to sustain or improve new and existing products.

• Ensure the effective implementationand ongoing executionof a Quality Management System.

• Act as the key liaison between Sales/Customer Service and Operations

• Provide oversight to site-specific technical and quality resources in adhering to product specification processes, nonconforming product processes, as well as proper laboratory and testing management.

• Develop a Quality Improvement Plan to elevate customer satisfaction and drive down the cost ofpoor quality.

• Responsible fordevelopingand mentoringdirect reports through setting goals, conducting performancediscussionsand managing team workload.

• Contribute to theglobal quality organizationbydeveloping,implementingand sharingbest practices in a systematic and scalable manner.

Qualifications:

Required
