Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC seeks a technically skilled Installation Engineer to lead a team of onsite technicians for the VA EHRM deployment and training project. The role involves extensive travel (up to 50%) and hands-on equipment setup at training sites, with limited supervision.

You will manage imaging, AD access, network connectivity, and equipment deployment while ensuring excellent customer service and report writing. Prior leadership and network expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, analyzing, configuring, or troubleshooting IP networks.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi and network hardware installation, configuration, and issue resolution.
• Hardware/software support including imaging and break/fix for laptops, desktops, printers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, analyzing, configuring, or troubleshooting IP networks; able to analyze network traffic and diagnose issues.
• Experience managing technical teams.
• Wi‑Fi and network hardware: install, configuration, management, and issue resolution.
• Hardware/software support: troubleshooting, imaging, break/fix (laptops, desktops, printers), refresh/upgrade/deployment projects.
• Able to lift/move equipment and pallets up to 50 lbs, and stoop/crouch/reach for setup work in server closets and under desks, with no restrictions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience writing reports/deliverables.
• Able to travel up to 50%; personal transportation required.
• Bachelor's in CS/IS/IT (or equivalent) + 10 years total experience, or 18 years total experience without a degree.
