Fabletics is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead tech design for women’s wovens and outerwear at our El Segundo headquarters. You will manage tech packs, fit sessions, and vendor collaboration to ensure brand-right fits from concept to production.

You will partner with Design, Production, and PD to establish specs, grading, constructions, and on-body standards while leveraging PLM systems and Gerber tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Technical Design for wovens/outerwear
• Proven ability to lead fittings and create brand right fits
• Experience with PLM systems and Gerber is a plus
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit

## Sr. Technical DesignerApply: On-site: El Segundo, CA: Full time: Posted Today: R8622## Job Description**Fabletics** is currently looking for a **Senior Technical Designer.** **How Do You Fit In?**As the **Senior Technical Designer** for Women’s Wovens & Outerwearyou will manage all aspects of Technical Design related functions from initial Tech Pack creation to production, facilitating the development of fashion garments from design concept and first prototype to a final, production-ready sample. **The Senior Technical Designer a**ttends all fittings and work with Design and vendor partners to create brand right fits and product standards.You will be joining an extremely fast-paced team of creative and energetic individuals working towards significant expansion into various apparel categories. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind who is passionate about fashion and fit and understands the brand aesthetic and price point of our brands.This position will report to the **Manager, Technical Design.****What You Will Do:*** Manage all tech design functions for the wovens and outerwear categories relating to creating brand right fits* Manage and create a smooth workflow of achieving deadlines resourcefully* Attend all fittings to develop Regular and Plus size apparel - must have technical expertise of body, fit, ease, flat specs, fabric/trim* Prep, measure and analyze garments to determine compliance of comments, specs, constructions, and sketches* Must have ability to lead fittings, taking detailed and accurate notes, and communicating directives with clear comments and detailed photos to vendors* Partner closely with Design to execute design vision and fit intent* Establish technical specifications including measurements, grading, construction details and on-body standards* Collaborate with Vendors, Production and PD to meet all calendar deadlines.* Build relationships with import and domestic vendors* Assemble tech packs with construction detail sketches, specs, how to measure guides and packaging details* Build and maintain technical design data libraries in Centric* Create fit blocks and product standards* Expert knowledge in grade rules and creating size charts* Problem solves, strategic and technical**What You Can Bring:*** Minimum 6+ years previous experience in Technical Design, preferably in wovens and outerwear categories* Experience with a PLM system and Gerber a plus* Proven track record of growing businesses, identifying trends and delivering results* Solid understanding of the marketplace, aspirational and competitive set* Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, balance and fit, and patterns* Excellent eye for fit, construction and detail* Ability to create technical drawings and renderings* Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation* Demonstrate positive attitude and works well in team atmosphere* Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment under pressure* Ideal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.**Where we are:*** This role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters**Compensation & Total Rewards:**At Fabletics, we believe work and life should fit together!
