This is an exciting opportunity within Celestica’s Hardware Platform Solutions (HPS) to make a positive impact and contribute to rapid business growth in a dynamic environment. The individual contributor will report to the Customer Experience (CX) organization and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer technical issues related to networking (primarily in Switching and Network Security), storage, and servers, with a focus on SONiC-related issues. This is a technically hands-on role. The successful candidate will be an experienced technical support troubleshooter, adept at resolving various technical issues, interfacing with customers, and managing escalations on mission-critical networks/operations. They should remain calm under pressure and possess strong operational experience to systematically and efficiently resolve issues and escalations.
The Network Engineer will engage with customers to understand their network topology, provide suggestions, answer questions, review configurations, and troubleshoot issues. They are also expected to participate in pre-sales activities, including assisting Celestica’s Sales Engineers and Business Development teams. A comprehensive understanding of networking protocols common in Data Center, Enterprise, and Campus scenarios is required. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of authoring test cases using Python/Go for internal QA activities and creating Application Notes for customer use. Extensive troubleshooting experience across a wide range of network-related issues is essential, along with an understanding of switch and router architecture. Travel requirements may be up to 25% of the time.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; educational requirements may vary by geography.
$130,000 - $160,000 USD/year. The range is an estimate and may vary based on duties, credentials, experience, or location.

This is a remote position with travel as needed. Candidates near major US airports or locations such as Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, or California are preferred.
