Independent Health Association, Inc., Buffalo, NY seeks a Senior ETL Support Engineer to:

1. Provide technical guidance and support to the ETL Production Support team on incidents and deliverables.
2. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and development.
3. Apply strong skills in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies, testing processes, and coding standards.
4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, driving insights that facilitate cross-functional initiatives and business outcomes.
5. Demonstrate expertise in ETL data management, including ETL and database architecture, data warehouse design, and implementation using Informatica Power Center, Oracle, and other tools.
6. Gather and validate requirements for database and ETL processes, engaging with non-technical experts and project teams to align data visualization and reporting needs.
7. Utilize healthcare concepts and data such as CPT, HCPCS, DRG, ICD-10/ICD-9 to understand business requirements.
8. Design and develop modifications to workflows and code to meet user needs and resolve issues.
9. Create and update documentation and specifications supporting processes using Informatica Power Center, Oracle, SQL Server, Unix Shell Scripts, and Teradata.
10. Develop ETL methodologies to populate data from various sources, perform advanced ETL activities, and optimize data processing and storage, especially in cloud environments like Azure.
11. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data integration and warehousing solutions.
12. Stay updated with industry trends and provide recommendations for improvements.
13. Document technical specifications and provide guidance to team members.
14. Support development efforts and ensure knowledge transfer of ETL solutions.
15. Make informed decisions regarding ETL design to meet quality and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience, including proficiency with Informatica Power Center, Oracle, SQL Server, Unix Shell Scripts, Teradata, healthcare data concepts, and related tools.

Compensation: $144,040/year, with potential bonuses, benefits, and paid time off. Compensation may vary based on skills, education, location, and experience.
