Sr. Tech Program Manager, Kuiper Government Solutions

Project Kuiper aims to deploy a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver low-latency, high-speed broadband to unserved and underserved communities globally. The mission of Kuiper's Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage this satellite network to provide secure, high-speed broadband services to U.S. and allied government clients.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to support the Kuiper Government Solutions team, focusing on Space Network Solutions for U.S. Government agencies such as NASA, DoD, and other National Security entities. The role involves establishing and tracking project milestones, managing priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of products that meet Kuiper's specifications. The candidate should excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, engaging with highly technical cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong business judgment, analytical skills, and effective communication, especially at the executive level.

Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in aerospace/satellite systems engineering and familiarity with DoD/IC cyber and security standards. Experience in deployed secure satellite telecommunications services is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage Kuiper's government communication systems provisioning, management, and monitoring solutions for various government users across ground, air, maritime, and space domains.
• Collaborate with commercial satellite teams to organize resources, schedule milestones, and track progress.
• Identify project dependencies and critical paths; coordinate among teams and subcontractors to mitigate risks.
• Propose improvements to enhance government user utility and satisfaction.
• Act as the primary contact for external teams, partners, and subcontractors, managing risks and ensuring goals are met.
• Communicate project status, plans, and issues clearly to executive management, escalating issues as needed.
• Resolve technical issues by coordinating multi-disciplinary expertise.
• Develop and communicate project schedules, track achievements, and manage technical trade-offs.
• Work with government agencies and partners to develop work packages and ensure resource availability.
• Establish goals and metrics to meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements.

Some domestic travel may be required. This role requires candidates to be U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
