B. Riley Wealth is seeking a full-time Sr. Tax Accountant to join our Boca Raton, FL tax office.

The Sr. Tax Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services, including preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, and providing guidance on a variety of tax matters. Education and experience required include a minimum of five years’ experience in tax returns, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and familiarity with

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Direct experience working with clients and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts clearly.
• At least one year of experience using UltraTax software.
• Familiarity with preparing sales and payroll tax filings.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented and professional approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make accurate, rules-based decisions.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review client-provided financial data for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare tax returns and provide accounting services for individuals and small businesses. Knowledge of estates and trusts required.

• Supervise and mentor junior staff on accounting and tax projects.
• Identify opportunities to assist clients by leveraging the full suite of services offered by the firm.
