Responsibilities

• Support program-level system integration efforts, ensuring seamless interaction between newhardware and existing software.
• Assist in the bring up of system and subsystem assets such as HILs, labcars, mules, and pre-production prototype vehicles.
• Integrate RivianVW’s next generation vehicle platforms into future Rivian and VW Brandvehicles.
• Develop, execute, and manage test plans for software readiness throughout developmentstages from early prototypes to SOP.
• Perform hands-on ad-hoc testing across various domains such as controls, connectivity,infotainment, and platform both pre and post merge.
• Debug, root cause, and triage complex issues across hardware, electrical, and software anddrive the implementation of the solutions.
• Aid in the maintenance, validation, and delivery of software for system assets across themyriad of brands in various stages of development.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of dependencies between various electrical & mechanical systems.
• Experience with systems engineering / automotive network architecture / vehicle integration.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive electrical systems and communication protocols(CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and relevant debug tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
• Good team player with great communication skills
• Proactively collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to solve vehicle-level integrationproblems.
• Flexibility to travel domestically/internationally (up to 25%).
• Clean driving record.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $135,100 - $168,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary:Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
