Job summary

ACI Worldwide in the United States seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise payment systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere, COBOL, AIX, Linux, and the MTS payments platform, and will maintain application stability while implementing enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in application engineering or software development.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL and experience with legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Solid understanding of AIX and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with the MTS payments platform or similar transaction processing systems.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Perl) and job scheduling tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Position Summary
