Job summary

Jackson Hospital and Clinic is seeking a System Administrator responsible for overseeing enterprise-level technology projects and ensuring goals are met. The role may include training responsibilities within the scope of authority.

The ideal candidate will have a IT degree, 4 years of IT experience, and a plan to obtain a Security+ certification within 6 months. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Four years of IT experience.
• Must obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of employment.
• Virtualization experience with VMware or Hyper-V highly desired.

Works as a System Administrator and is responsible for implementing activities of technology projects relating to enterprise level systems ensuring goals are accomplished for Jackson Hospital and Clinic. May be assigned a trainer role within the scope of authority.

Bachelor’s degree in an associated Information Technology discipline is preferred. Valid State driver’s license. Security certifications desired (e.g. COMPTIA Security+, CASP etc.). Must be able to obtain Security+ certification, through self-study, within 6-months of employment. Virtualization or other IT certifications highly desired (e.g. VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Hyper-V).Four (4) years’ experience with Information Technology solutions. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of college.
