Job summary

Magnit is seeking a Sr. IT Systems Engineer to support WebSphere to CloudPak migrations and Tomcat/NodeJS environments. This contract role partners with GuideWell and Florida Blue, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

You will handle on-call duties, implement automation, and assist with CMS 9/12 audits and JSM support. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large-scale IT, strong problem solving, and agile collaboration.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a contract opportunity. You will be employed by Magnit to work on assignment with GuideWell and subsidiary companies including Florida Blue.

Sr. IT Systems Engineer – WebSphere to Cloudpak migration, Tomcat/NodeJS Support with CMS 9/12 Audit + JSM support to provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.

Essential Functions

• IT Sr. Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of websphere/Liberty/nodeJS/WebLogic solutions. IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting etc. Experience in CloudPak/OpenShift platform devops nodejs administration Jenkins, GIT lab etc is a plus. They should be conversant with websphere migrations along with Liberty, IHS, netscaler configurations. Tomcat servers experience and other opensource web servers experience is also required for this particular assignment. Experience in SOC2/ OIG/CMS auditing preparation, JSM submission, Vulnerability management and applying the patches for the Audit remediation etc is a must. They should be able to do coding in common languages in case of necessities for system's monitoring and other related functionalities.

Requirements

• Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration

Required Experience

• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology

• Related Bachelor\'s degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement which combines flexibility with in-office engagement. Team schedules are determined based on role requirements and business needs. Travel to and from our corporate or regional offices may be required
