Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory) to support the Distributed Ground System at Langley AFB, Hampton, VA.

You will manage a virtualized data center, implement patches, and ensure system security in a mission-driven environment. The role requires at least 5 years of IT experience, Security+ or equivalent, and hands-on work with Microsoft Server 2019, Windows 11, AD, DNS, Group Policy, and VMware.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT/System Administration experience.
• Security+ certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate a virtualized data center using VMware and Dell/EMC storage.
• Install, support, and maintain servers with performance tuning and storage allocation.
• Protect system integrity via patch management, antivirus oversight, and backups.
• Diagnose outages, perform system analysis, and implement updates.
• Run health checks across processes, services, networks, and storage.
• Update documentation and support configuration management; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with security on upgrades and compliance; mentor Tier 1/2 staff.
