Qualifications

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Git (desired).
  • Familiarity with Linux distributions: RHEL/CentOS.
  • CI/CD orchestration: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps.
  • Container tech: Docker and Kubernetes; Cloud Native ecosystem knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develops technical solutions for management of software, hardware, configurations, and architecture.
  • Provides interpretation to systems matters that are moderately complex.
  • Troubleshoots highly complex hardware and software issues.
  • Trains end users on proper use of hardware and software; may train large groups.
  • Performs advanced software installations and OS upgrades.
  • Monitors and tunes systems for optimum performance.
  • Guides less experienced personnel on data integrity and standard solutions.
  • Conducts hardware/software audits for compliance with standards and configurations.
  • Leads long-term system plans and large projects with limited oversight.

The Administrator will conduct advanced hardware and software support while also providing guidance and training to end users who may be less experienced. This position will be responsible for developing technical solutions and providing support for complex systems hardware and software issues.
