Job summary

DAn Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure changes and upgrades in a TS/SCI with CI poly environment. The role requires managing VMware environments and administering Windows and Linux systems, with strong STIG compliance and automation via scripting.

The position involves mentoring junior staff, building secure images, and supporting a software CM/Dev environment in a no-remote-work setting at our Reston, VA location.

Qualifications

• Linux OS administration required (CentOS/RHEL).
• Satellite server administration experience.
• Ansible playbooks writing experience.
• Implementing STIGs across systems.
• Experience supporting a software CM/Dev environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and upgrades.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware environments.
• Provide Windows Server and Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Create STIG-compliant images for Windows and Linux.
• Create, test, and deploy software via SCCM/PDQ etc.
• Provide expert mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrators.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Use scripting to automate routine tasks.
• Perform hardware maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure planning/execution of major projects and maintenance.
• Provide advanced AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers administration.

REQUIRES AN EXISTING/ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH CI POLYGRAPH - NO REMOTE WORK

• Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
• Manages and troubleshoots multiple VMware environments.
• Provides Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
• Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
• Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
• Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
• Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
• Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.
• Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.

The position may be filled at different Labor Category (LCAT) levels depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and applicable contract requirements. Final compensation within the posted range will be determined based on the applicable LCAT and factors including education, relevant experience, certifications, and other required qualifications.
