Job summary

RTX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support a Windows and Red Hat Linux environment in Andover, MA. You will manage DNS, DHCP, and AD, and resolve complex technical issues while pursuing DoD 8140/8570 certification.

The role requires US citizenship and interim clearance eligibility. The position requires a university degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years in a related field, with strong server and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

What You Will Do

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within a reasonable amount of time Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications We Prefer

Linux Red Hat experience Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification). Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions. Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
