Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA seeks an IT Systems Administrator to provide administration across Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. The role requires DNS, DHCP, and AD experience, strong troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

The candidate must be able to obtain interim DoD clearance and hold U.S. citizenship. This is a full-time, onsite position with relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You Will Do

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows andRed HatEnterpriselinuxenvironment.
• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Working as a team member inafast-pacedtechnologicalenvironment.Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within a reasonable amount of time
• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and or /Linux operating systems.
• Experience withServer architectures and troubleshooting methods.
• Must be able todevelopsolutionsand documentation to a variety of technical problems.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Linux Red Hat experience
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies andsolutions.
• Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.

Salary & Benefits

• The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.
