Job summary

Elenchus Technologies in Annapolis, MD is seeking a senior Linux System Administrator/Engineer for a contractor role supporting an IC-wide mission environment. The candidate will manage CentOS/RHEL Linux admin tasks, operate in a Kubernetes-based environment, and apply security best practices.

Required: Security+ certification; Kubernetes experience with tooling and container fundamentals. Desired: Red Hat Certification, Python/Ansible/Salt, VMware, Agile/DevOps, encryption tech; SYS3 privacy

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Linux System Admin / Eng.
• Experience with Linux admin tasks on CentOS/RHEL.
• Kubernetes (K8s) tooling and container fundamentals experience.

Job description

• Requirements Qualifications: Contractor will be supporting an IC wide mission environment / service.
• Minimum of 10 years experience as a Linux System Admin / Eng.
• Required: Linux - (CentOS/RHEL) Linux admin experience.
• Kubernetes based environment.
• Red Hat Certification desired
• Required: Kubernetes (K8's) experience; specifically tooling and container fundamentals needed.
• Experience with High Side / Classified networking is a major plus.
• Required: Security + Certification; Kubernetes, BASH
• Highly Desired: Python, Ansible, Salt, VMware experience, Agile, Dev Ops, Key Management / Encryption technologies
• Other Desired experience: Storage Networking Security Compliance Authentication Physical Server Administration
• Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level desired.
• If SYS3 is not current, candidate will need to put in for SYS3.
