Job summary

Huxley seeks a Senior Software Engineer for Compute Platform & Cloud Infrastructure in the Greater Boston Area. You will help design and build scalable, distributed infrastructure powering research, trading, and analytics.

You will lead architectural discussions, collaborate across teams, and implement cloud-native solutions with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, and Terraform, while contributing to CI/CD and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with Python or another object-oriented language.
• 4+ years designing and architecting large-scale production systems.
• 3+ years building distributed, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable compute, workflow, messaging, AI, and observability platforms.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Lead architecture discussions and drive technical decisions for large-scale distributed systems.

The firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Compute Platforms team, responsible for developing the foundational infrastructure that supports compute, workflow orchestration, messaging, AI, and observability capabilities across the organization.
