About this role

We need a Sr. Automation Developer who can assist the team in designing, developing, executing, and monitoring a robust suite of automated tests for our cloud services. With our engineering team placing a huge focus on automated testing, this role will require you to apply your development and test experience to thoroughly validate our cloud-based services by implementing new automation tests and expanding existing tooling where appropriate. You will be designing and creating tests that will cover all aspects of the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of an Agile delivery team, planning, executing, and maintaining relevant, reliable, and robust automated tests that support a cloud-based solution.
• Develop and maintain tooling that will be used to design, build, and run automated test suites as part of a continuous deployment infrastructure with zero-downtime releases to our customers.
• Develop, execute, and maintain a library of automated tests.
• Act as a thought leader with respect to test and automation design within the program, sharing knowledge and experience across delivery teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ yrs. experience developing, executing, and triaging automation scripts to validate software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert knowledge with various development tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Node.js, CucumberJS, Selenium, JavaScript, Bash
• Solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) concepts and practices to continually assess the risks and quality of products.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, detail oriented with the ability to drive tasks to completion and on schedule
• Experience developing and maintaining test tooling for cloud services
