Job summary

HMB Professional Engineers, LLC seeks a Sr Structures Project Manager to lead planning, design and execution of structural projects in the transportation sector. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and ensure quality, serving as the primary client contact with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• PE or SE license required.
• 15+ years of experience in structural engineering and project management.
• Proven track record of managing structural projects.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (OpenBridge/LEAP, MIDAS, OpenRoads, MicroStation).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
• Experience working in multiple states is a plus.
• Project and/or client management experience is required.
• Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale structural projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, as well as time management skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client needs and deadlines, as well as other assigned project parameters.
• Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
