Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive end-to-end electronics quoting, negotiation and contracting. You will collaborate across commodities and functions to support electronics proposals and contracts, reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.

You will work on a hybrid schedule at our Clearwater location, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to optimize costs, quality, and delivery while ensuring compliance and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or finance.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist

As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of electronics quoting, negotiation, and contracting. You will be responsible for collaborating across commodities and functions within and outside of ISC to support electronics proposals and contracts.

You will report directly to our Director, Strategic Sourcing, and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL locations on a Hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
• Strong negotiation skills and processes
• Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred
• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
• Significant experience managing contracts
• Ability to negotiate terms and conditions
• Experience with executing subcontracts
