Strategic Recruiting Resources seeks a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst for a Milwaukee-area client in heavy mobile equipment. You will lead sourcing for new product development and current products, and independently develop category/subcategory and supplier strategies.

You will manage $30–$50 million commodity spend, lead negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and 5+ years manufacturing experience are required.

Qualificações

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Exposure to castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understand timeline development and cost structures.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

You will also independently develop, implement and drive Category/Subcategory as well as Supplier Strategies for non-globally driven categories. What you will be doing:

• The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst will drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships while leveraging deep sourcing expertise.
• Responsibilities include managing $30 to $50 million commodity spend, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with key cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements
• Analysis of purchase volumes within category to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, product portfolio/supplier capability efficiency
• Manage quoting and negotiations
• Lead supplier selection process for both Global and Regional strategies on both current product and New Product Development components
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members

What they are looking for

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing
• Exposure to commodities such as castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Working Knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.

• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Open to 20% to 30% travel
• APICS Certification would be a plus
