Job summary

Our client in Milwaukee is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst to lead sourcing activities for new product development and existing products within assigned commodity spaces, working with the Director of Sourcing.

Develop and drive Category/Subcategory and Supplier Strategies for non-globally driven areas. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management, and the ability to manage significant spends with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Exposure to castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understand timeline development and cost structures.
• APICS Certification would be a plus.
• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships using deep sourcing expertise.
• Manage $30–$50 million commodity spend and develop sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
• Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost reductions.
• Manage quoting and negotiations for suppliers.
• Lead supplier selection for Global and Regional strategies for current products and New Product Development components.
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members.

• The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst will drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships while leveraging deep sourcing expertise.
• Responsibilities include managing $30 to $50 million commodity spend, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with key cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements

• Manage quoting and negotiations
• Lead supplier selection process for both Global and Regional strategies on both current product and New Product Development components
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members
