Job summary

Riverscape Search Agency is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst to lead sourcing for new product development and existing products in assigned commodities, partnering with the Director of Sourcing.

The role drives category and supplier strategies for both global and regional needs, offering growth in Milwaukee area operations. You will manage substantial commodity spend, negotiate master agreements, and mentor junior team members while traveling 20–30% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Exposure to castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• Working knowledge of master supplier agreements and cost breakdown methodologies.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships.
• Manage $30–$50 million commodity spend and develop sourcing strategies.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
• Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost savings.
• Lead supplier selection for Global and Regional strategies on current products and NPD components.
• Mentor and train new Sourcing team members.

You will also independently develop, implement and drive Category/Subcategory as well as Supplier Strategies for non-globally driven categories. What you will be doing:

• The Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst will drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships while leveraging deep sourcing expertise.
• Responsibilities include managing $30 to $50 million commodity spend, developing sourcing strategies, and collaborating with key cross-functional teams.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements
• Analysis of purchase volumes within category to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, product portfolio/supplier capability efficiency
• Manage quoting and negotiations
• Lead supplier selection process for both Global and Regional strategies on both current product and New Product Development components
• Mentor, coach, and train new Sourcing team members

What they are looking for

• Understand timeline development and cost structures
• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Open to 20% to 30% travel
• APICS Certification would be a plus
