Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced and agile environment using the latest development and infrastructure technologies.
• Provide guidance to developers on planning, execution, and design architecture using agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
• Collaborate with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision.
• Drive efficiency across teams by eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse.
• Capture system-level requirements through brainstorming sessions with CTO, Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Business, and Product Managers.
• Lead impact assessments and decisions related to technology choices, design/architecture considerations, and implementation strategies.
• Lead architecture and design efforts across products and multiple product versions.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or STEM majors plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• 8 years of experience with Java development.
• Experience in building scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• 5 years of micro-service development experience.
• Experience with Spring Boot applications, Kubernetes, Kafka, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, and OAuth2.0.

This is a 100% remote position. Salary range in the U.S. is $190,486 to $251,160 annually, with a 10% variable incentive. Benefits include healthcare, savings accounts, 401(k), insurance, paid time off, parental leave, tuition refund, and more.
