eBay's Payments & Monetization Design team shapes how money moves through one of the world's largest marketplaces. We design the experiences behind eBay's co-branded credit card and rewards program, the evolution of eBay's digital wallet, and the fee and monetization structures that make it possible for millions of sellers to build a business and millions of buyers to find what they love. It's work that sits at the intersection of consumer trust, financial regulation, partner ecosystems, and real business leverage.
As a Sr. Staff Experience Designer for our Payment Platform, Tax, & Monetization team, you'll be a hands‑on design lead for one of the most important product areas in the company. You'll define the direction for a multi-quarter initiative, make the work yourself and alongside a small team, and bring Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Legal partners into alignment around a shared vision. As a senior craft leader, you’ll raise work quality, compose how teams handle sophisticated problems, and influence decisions with cross‑functional partners and senior leaders. You’ll also help evolve our approaches, explore new technologies like AI, and develop methods that empower other designers and teams. This role reports to the Design Director for Payments & Monetization within eBay's Services Design organization, and partners closely with Product and Engineering leaders across Payments and Financial Services.
