You will lead the modernization of our secure development capabilities, enhance our security engagement and assessment functions, and collaborate directly with the business to secure systems during development. **Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
- Perform multi-dimensional architectural assessments based on risk, data type, identity, data landing zone, control adherence, and threat models to generate recommendations and designs.
- Collaborate with functional partners and technology leadership to define and maintain cyber infrastructure strategy.
- Present concepts, ideas, and plans that influence key cyber objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments on software and system architectures.
- Provide strategic guidance on security tools, technologies, and capabilities.
- Analyze, design, and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based on current and future state architectures.
- Review and develop use cases and identify problems across multiple teams.
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to support project development and operational activities.
- Support the execution team in resolving roadblocks and managing interdependencies, partnering with external technical and functional teams.
- Utilize security tools and technologies effectively across diverse environments, with the technical depth to implement end-to-end solutions aligned with our security architecture.
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to organizational leaders and product teams.
- Execute strategic technical programs as a senior member of project teams.
- Develop security policies, standards, and interpret regulatory controls.
- Work independently and be self-directed when necessary.
- Demonstrate customer focus by evaluating decisions from the customer's perspective, building strong relationships, and partnering to shape future initiatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship within the domain.
**Technical Expertise:**
- Experience with security architecture design and assessment of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Threat Models.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle.
- Deep familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, OWASP, CIS, STIG, DFAR requirements.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least 13 years, or a High School Diploma with at least 15 years of experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Cyber Security Architecture or Solutions Architecture.
- Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
**Eligibility Requirements:**

**Desired Characteristics:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM field.
- Experience as a senior cybersecurity architect.
- Strong understanding of modern software and cloud architectures.
- Experience implementing strategic cybersecurity projects.
- Experience evaluating technologies, including COTS and SaaS offerings.
- Ability to develop briefings for senior management.
- Strong analytical, evaluative, and consulting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evolving technologies through training or education.
- Recognized subject matter expertise in the industry.
