We are currently seeking a Sr. SRE/Observability Engineer in Irving, Texas to join our team.

Position Details:

• This is a permanent, full-time, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.
• This role offers a hybrid work model with a minimum of three days on-site at our client's office in Irving, Texas.

Job Overview:

NTT Data is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability/Observability Engineer with expertise in SRE practices, observability, and extensive experience in SLO/SLI creation and management. The role involves driving the adoption of SRE and observability best practices across the enterprise, utilizing enterprise observability services to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage observability solutions, including metric identification and validation, centralizing in GEM/Prometheus, and visualizing in Grafana dashboards.
• Write and manage complex queries and alert definitions.
• Bridge the gap between Operations Support teams and SRE operations.
• Configure and manage monitoring, alerts, and observability tools such as GEM, Splunk, Netcool, ELK, and AIM.
• Maintain deep technical knowledge with tools like AppDynamics, GEM, AIM/ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Write code (Java, Python, Ansible) and develop configuration files and complex queries.
• Establish design patterns for monitoring and benchmarking SLOs.
• Provide leadership and strategy for implementing and maintaining observability solutions.
• Create and maintain operational documentation for observability solutions.
• Optimize the observability suite for application monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience with Grafana.
• At least 2 years of experience with Python, Java, and Ansible.
• At least 3 years of experience with AppDynamics, GEM, AIM/ELK, Splunk, and Prometheus.
