Job summary

Resolution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. SQL DBA for a 3-month onsite engagement with potential renewals in the Phoenix area. The resource will operate at L3/L4 level, handling day-to-day SQL management and maintenance tasks for a client project.

The role requires strong MS SQL administration, T-SQL, DB tuning, and AOAG knowledge, plus Azure Managed Instance/IaaS SQL administration. Onsite presence in North Scottsdale is expected, three days per week.

Qualifications

• MS SQL general administration and T-SQL proficiency are required.
• DB tuning and troubleshooting experience essential.
• Knowledge of Always On Availability Groups (AOAG) and Azure IaaS SQL administration is needed.
• Experience with Azure managed instance and related Azure SQL services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• L3/L4 SQL DBA performing day-to-day SQL management and maintenance.
• Ensure database performance, availability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Provide escalation support and collaborate with client team on SQL-related issues.

We are hiring for a Sr. SQL resource for a client project that will last 3 months with possible renewals. It will be onsite at the client.

Job Description:

L3/L4 SQL DBA for day-to-day SQL management/maintenance duties.

Required Skills:

• MS SQL general administration, Transact SQL, DB tuning and troubleshooting, knowledge of AOAG, Azure managed Instance and IaaS SQL administration. (Current version plus supported versions)

Nice to Have:

• PostgreSQL, CosmoDB knowledge. Knowledge of Azure Site Recovery.m

Location and schedule:

Candidates local to the Phoenix area who are comfortable working onsite in North Scottsdale office three days per week.

Role:

Level 2-4 SQL DBAs. We are not hiring for a Jr. or entry level DBA.
