  • Prepare financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and spend projections to support decision‑making during studies, construction, and ramp‑up phases.
  • Align budget planning with annual and multi‑year capital spend targets (e.g., $165M in 2026 and significantly increasing in 2027).
Cost Tracking & Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor actual spend versus budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting of expenditures across engineering, operations, procurement, and site teams.

  • Maintain integrated cost‑control systems and ensure data accuracy between SAP, TM1, Hyperion, and project management tools.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Support financial sections of conceptual, pre‑feasibility, and feasibility studies.
  • Facilitate budget review meetings and workshops to help project teams understand cost drivers and spending patterns.

  • Support internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement of budgeting and project control methodologies.

  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Site Services, Geology, Procurement, Finance, and contractor teams to gather cost data and deliver accurate project reporting.
  • Coordinate with corporate groups (Project Services, Global Procurement, Finance, Legal) to ensure consistent processes and adherence to AGA standards.
  • Support Nevada Projects leadership by providing actionable financial insights and real‑time cost visibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, geology, or a related field.
  • Post‑graduate studies in project management, financial management, or a related discipline are an asset.
  • 5–7 years of experience in mining, resources, or large‑scale construction environments.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, or project cost control.
  • Experience supporting large CAPEX projects preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify financial information for non‑financial teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver’s license (field and site travel required).
